The International College of GDUFS was established by Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) through integrating quality education resources at home and abroad since 2004. It has been exploring the field of international education for over 10 years. It has also become one of the training bases for overseas study accredited by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE), the only official institution for overseas qualification recognition of China.

Chinese candidates with a college entrance examination score over the standard for second-tier colleges (candidates outside of Guangdong Province should reach the standard for the last-tier colleges) can apply for programs of world-class universities such as the University of Queensland, Lancaster University, and the University of Leicester. Those whose scores fall below the standard for the last-tier colleges may apply for the 16 overseas higher education institutions if they can pass the entrance examination (English exams only) organized by the International College of GDUFS.

1.Authoritativeness.GDUFS International College is the only overseas study and training base of CSCSE in South China. Bachelor’s and master’s degrees awarded by foreign colleges and universities can be recognized. With recognition, such degree holders may apply for jobs (civil servants for example) in government sponsored institutions, or master programs as domestic bachelor’s or master’s degree holders.
2. Professionalism. GDUFS International College provides overseas study training in cooperation with foreign universities. After two years of language training and professional course study, once the student meets the admission requirements of our foreign partners, they can study at the foreign universities and complete the remaining curriculum in 1-2 years. We have been working together with our foreign partners for as long as 37 years. We have a rich experience in Sino-foreign cooperative education programs and have a very stable relationship with our foreign partners. Our 18 foreign partner universities with an admission scale of nearly 1,000 students per year ensures the stability and diversity of our programs. Nearly 500 professional English teachers from GDUFS and the foreign teachers directly sent by our foreign partner universities guarantee the professionalism of English and other course teaching. 3.Cost-effectiveness. GDUFS International College only charges 50K CNY/year for tuition and 5K CNY/year for housing. The total fees of 2-year training in China and one-year study abroad (at some UK universities) is just about 400K CNY. After that you can obtain a bachelor’s degree of overseas universities and have your degree recognized by the MOE. Compared to those three-year programs abroad for a degree at the cost of 800K-900K CNY, our programs are very economical.
