■About the University
The University of Newcastle (UoN), former Newcastle Campus of the University of New South Wales, was established in 1965. UoN is known for its rigorous school spirit and excellent teaching quality. It ranked 214th in the QS World University Rankings 2019 and is well reputed in Australia.
UoN’s has offered Business Administration program for more than 20 years. Students holding an MBA from the university will be eligible to become a member of the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA). Over the years, the amount of research funding received by UoN have always been in the top 10. The university is an internationally recognized excellent research center. In February 2017, Jack Ma, a famous Chinese entrepreneur, donated $20 million to the university to set up the “Ma & Morley Scholarship”.

Newcastle is the second largest city in New South Wales, located approximately 150 kilometers north of Sydney. The temperature there in winter is 10-18°C, and in summer is 20-28°C. The city is well connected, with two airports providing services among cities.
