From November 30thto December 6th, the Vice President of GDUFS Chen Linhan and his delegates visited six universities in the UK and Germany, having consultations on the enhancement of cooperation, exchange, and scholarship programs. The delegation also visited the exchange students and scholars from GDUFS in those universities.
OnNovember 30th, Vice President Chen Linhan and his delegation started visiting University of Bedfordshire as soon as they arrived in the UK. The Executive Deputy Vice Chancellor Ashraf and the Director of the International Department Harry Wang received the delegation. Both parties reviewed the friendly cooperation over the past years, and discussed the improvement of the communication mechanism, jointly expressing the willingness to strengthen cooperation and to promote the education quality of both universities.

December 1st, Chen Linhan and his delegation visited University of Gloucestershire. Chen Linhan met with the former director of the Office of International Affairs Alun, reviewed the cooperation of past 21 years, and had consultations on conducting cooperation in the exchange programs including business music, music and performance, computer science, and software engineering.
December 3rd, Chen Linhan and his delegation visited University of Central Lancashire. The Deputy Vice Chancellor of International Affairs Tim and the Director of International Affairs Paul gave a warm welcome to the visiting delegation. The teachers from School of Sports, School of Journalism and Media, School of Business and School of Music and Performance discussed the expansion of programs, teaching quality monitoring, and the improvement of enrollment with the delegation. After the meeting, Chen Linhan visited the exchange scholars and some of the teacher representatives from the “Shadow Program”, encouraging them to achieve more in their respective fields.

December 4th, the delegation visited Lancaster University. The Director of International Affairs Michelle and the Senior Director of International Affairs Emma received the Delegation. Both parties discussed the scholarship program. It is reported that the Management School and the Media School are planning to set up a special scholarship called “GDUFS-Lancaster University Scholarship” for the excellent students from the International College of GDUFS.

December 6th, the delegation visited University of Siegen in Germany. The specialist of exchange student affairs of the Office of International Affairs Susanne Engelmann met with the delegation, and discussed the short term bilateral exchange programs and summer vacation exchange programs, and reached important consensus. After the meeting, Chen Linhan visited the student representatives from GDUFS studying in University of Siegen and introduced to them the development status of GDUFS and sent them gifts.
