On January 20th, 2019, the Sixth Graduation Ceremony of University of Portsmouth (Chinese Campus) was held in Shanghai. GDUFS Vice President Chen Linhan, at invitation, attended the Ceremony with the Associate Dean of International College Liu Tianmiao, and the Vice Secretary of the general party branch of International College Shen Dongmiao.

Professor Graham Galbaith, the Vice Chancellor of University Portsmouth, Professor Chris Chang, the Deputy Vice Chancellor, and Professor Gioia Pescetto, the Executive Dean of the School of Commerce and Law were present at the graduation ceremony. Vice President Graham Galbaith delivered a speech wishing the best for the graduates, and awarded nearly 40 bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. Among the other participants, there were also representatives from the British Council, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and International Education Union.
During the ceremony, Vice President Chen Linhan had cordial talks with Vice Chancellor Graham Galbaith and Deputy Vice Chancellor Chris Chang, reflecting upon the friendship and the pleasant cooperation on international exchange and training programs for the past two years, and discussing how to further optimize and promote the existing cooperation programs in terms of curriculum and training models. They also talked about further strengthening the ties and cooperation in disciplines including business, engineering, and sports, and showed common wishes to promote the exchange and training programs and to train international talents.
