On November 6th, 2018, organized by China Scholarship Council, and co-organized by the Study Abroad Training Center of GDUFS, the 2018 Annual Work Conference of Study Abroad Training Department of the Ministry of Education was held in the international conference room on the 3rdfloor of the GDUFS administrative building. The participants include the Vice President of GDUFS Chen Linhan, the Deputy Secretary General Zhang Ning, Director Long Man, Director Dong Zhixue, Director Li Xin, Deputy Director Yang Xiangyi, Deputy Director Guo Danqing, Program Manager Liu Dawei of the China Scholarship Council, and the relevant personnel from different training departments.
The Participants of the Conference
The Vice President Chen Linhan addressed the annual conference, welcoming the participants from the China Scholarship Council and different training departments, and gave a brief introduction to the international education concept of GDUFS and the achievements that GDUFS had made. During the conference, the personnel from 11 training departments nationwide introduced their work content and the achievements they had made in their respective departments, and also pointed out the difficulties and pronounced problems in their work. Two teacher representatives reported on their overseas visits and research, and proposed targeted advice for the work of the training departments. The Director of National Education Steering Committee Chen Weidong reported on the work of the committee. The Deputy Secretary General Zhang Ning announced the China Scholarship Council’s Plan for 2019 exchange candidates and the plan for training in 2019. Meanwhile, he also urged all the departments should ensure the education quality and to improve the level of English of the exchange candidates.
