In the afternoon of December 20th, the Campus Talk on Application for Exchange Programs in Australia and New Zealand for students enrolled in 2017 was held in the B8 Lecture Hall in the Higher Education Mega Center. The Deputy Director of Office of International Affairs Zhong Risheng, the Deputy Director of the Exchange Office of the International Division Yang Xinhui, and Elsie Wong from Queensland University of Technology, and Tan Yingying from the Service Center of Overseas Studies of GDUFS were invited to give lectures. Among participants, there were counsellors Huang Guanfu and Liu Xiaojuan, and 200 sophomores who were in the Australia-New Zealand Exchange Programs. The talk was moderated by Mr. Cai Chunliu from the Department ofOverseas Studies Affairs.

The Deputy Director of International Affairs Zhong Risheng introduced to the students the geological locations and the characteristics of every university, suggesting the students to choose the universities according to their own interests and career plans. He also introduced to the students the deposit requirements, highlighting the importance of diploma verification, and introduced the procedure of applying for a visa, reminding everyone the correct way to seek help and prepare application materials.

Yang Xinhui, Deputy Director of the Exchange Office of the International Division talked about safety before the trip, listing all the safety precautions and political precautions to take before the trip, ensuring that every student will have a fruitful life and academic journey abroad.
Cai Chunliu Introducing the Application Requirements
Miss Cai Chunliu from the Department of Overseas Studies Affairs gave application examples to the students, and elaborated on the application steps, application requirements, scholarship application, accommodation application, airport pick-up arrangements, the starting date of a semester, and visa preparation, of every university, enabling students to gain sufficient information.

International College also invited a special guest, Elsie Wong, from Queensland University of Technology, who gave a detailed introduction to different aspects of the life in Queensland University of Technology. She, as an alumna of Queensland University of Technology, shared the studies experience in this university with the audience.
