California State Universityand its branches are one of the largest higher education systems in the world. Founded in 1911, California State University, Fresno is one of the 23 branches of California State University. It is accredited by California’s Ministry of Education and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. With 26 national accredited professional programs, it has the most accredited programs among branches of the California State University.

The university is ranked “the 60 best postgraduate schools in the United States” by U.S. News & World Report. It is ranked 205th in the 2019 U.S. News BestColleges Rankings and 112nd in the American Public University Rankings.

Fresno, California, is in the heart of California’s Central Valley with a population of about 600,000. It’s the largest city in Central Valley and a great choice for a vacation.
